2. Register you details
3. Complete your profile, Guest Message, select your registry, create a guest list and enter your guest wedding information
4. Send an automated email to all your guests letting them know that you have a registry with The Gift Table
5. Done!
How much does it cost to do a registry with The Gift Table?
To create a gift registry with The Gift Table is FREE...YAY!
If you would like to select on of our other registries, a Giving Tree or a Donations registry then there is a $79 administration fee which is to cover transferring and the administration of the funds.
What will my guests pay?
Your guests will pay a $12 flat rate shipping fee for their gift purchase.
Are you thinking of asking for cash instead of gifts?
Then that is not a problem. We have a Giving Tree (Wishing Well) registry which allows your guests to give a gift of money to you for your wedding and new life together.
Can you have a gift registry and a wishing well?
ABSOLUTELY! why choose when you can have both.
We also have a Donations registry, which allows you to select a charity that you feel close to and creates an easy way for your guests to donate.
We have lived together for many years and don’t need any gifts. What do you suggest?
Why not try our Giving Tree (Wishing Well) or Donations registry.
How do we tell guests about our list?
We can either have some beautiful cards printed out to slip into your wedding invitations, or you can always send your guests an automated email letting them know that you have a registry with The Gift Table. This email provides a link straight to your registry for your guests to RSVP and buy you a beautiful gift.

What type of gifts should you have so all your guests are satisfied?
It is really important to ensure you have a good mix of both gifts and price range. Not everyone has the same budget and everyone likes to buy different things for their friends. So to ensure you keep all your friends and family happy put a good range for them to choose from.
How many gifts should I include in my registry?
It is difficult to know exactly how many gifts to select. Just make sure you select gifts you love and if you need to add more during the course of the wedding ‘lead up’ then you always can. And make sure your guests have plenty of choice!
What if I change my mind after choosing gifts?
That is fine, as long as the gift hasn’t been purchased you can add and delete as many gifts as you like.
How will I know which guests bought which gifts?
On ‘Our Guest list’ page in your registry it shows you who and purchased which gifts and who has made donations.
What if all our gifts don’t get purchased?
If you would still like a gift that has not been purchased from your Gift Table then you are welcome to purchase any item after your registry has closed with a 10% discount.
How often should I check my list to see what has been bought?
It is always good to check your registry once a week, just to make sure your list hasn’t run out, and to check your RSVP’s. BUT we find that couples like to check more frequently just because it is really exciting to see what is happening, and update your message to your guests with exciting news!
Will my gifts be wrapped?
You can absolutely select to have your gifts wrapped, and we have just started to offer FREE gift wrapping!
Large items such as tables, chairs, floor lamps etc. Are a little bit tricky to wrap so we leave these ones in their boxes.
How will my gifts be delivered?
We use a very well renowned and professional courier company to transport your gifts from our warehouse to you.
How long will we wait until our gifts are delivered?
Depending on stock availability we suggest at least 3 weeks after the wedding date, as guests tend to purchase at last minute.
How can guests buy a gift?
Everything is online, so it is very easy and secure using Pay Pal. However if your guests are unable to use the internet that is not a problem, they can simply call us and we can arrange for a bank deposit.
Can overseas guests use their credit cards to purchase gifts?
Absolutely. We use Pay Pal and they will accept all credit card types.
